How it works

Lips closed, air through the nose.

Snoring noise comes from air moving past relaxed tissue at the back of the throat, and an open mouth is what lets that happen. A soft lip shaped strip holds the lips together so the air routes through your nose instead. The adhesive is gentle enough to lift away in the morning without stinging, and a small hole in the centre means you are never sealed shut.

Questions

Is this safe if I have sleep apnea?

No. Do not use it. Apnea is airway obstruction, not an open mouth, and taping the lips of someone whose airway closes during sleep is the wrong intervention. Loud snoring with gasping or daytime exhaustion is the main sign of apnea and needs a doctor and a sleep study, not a strip.

What if my nose is blocked?

Then do not use it that night. You need a clear nasal airway for this to make sense. The comfort hole is small, it is not a substitute for being able to breathe.

Will it hurt to take off?

The adhesive is designed for facial skin and lifts away without stinging. Dry lips grip better than balmed ones. If your skin reacts easily, test a strip on your inner arm first.

Can I still talk or drink?

Yes, through the centre hole. You can also just take it off, it is one strip and there are thirty in a pack.

Will it sculpt my jawline?

No. That claim gets made a lot about mouth tape and there is nothing behind it. This is about quieter breathing at night, not facial structure.

How long does a pack last?
