A slim band you set directly, no phone involved. It buzzes against your wrist rather than filling the room, and the intensity climbs through three levels until you switch it off, so it is hard to sleep through but nobody else hears it. Fourteen days of battery, magnetic charger, three alarms if you want a backup.
Questions
Will it actually wake me if I sleep through phone alarms?
For most heavy sleepers, yes, because vibration on the skin is harder to tune out than a sound in the room. But we will be straight with you: it wakes you, it does not get you out of bed. If you turn alarms off in your sleep, set two or three and put a real one across the room as backup.
Will my partner hear it?
No. There is no sound at all, just vibration against your wrist.
Does it need my phone?
No. It is standalone. You set the alarm on the band and that is it.
How long does the battery last?
Around 14 days of nightly use, then a top up with the magnetic charger.
Can I shower with it?
It is water resistant for everyday wear, but do not swim in it.
Is it comfortable to sleep in?
Most people stop noticing it after a few nights. If the strap bothers you, wearing it slightly looser or on the ankle usually solves it.
Can I rely on it if I cannot hear a normal alarm?
Plenty of people who cannot rely on sound use vibration alarms and find them better than anything else. If missing a wake up would be serious, keep a second alarm as backup rather than trusting a single device.
